The fragrance of Christ
In this message Wouter looks at what it means as believers to be ‘aroma of Jesus’ to the world. We consider the question of whether there are personal sacrifices that Jesus is calling us to, in order for him to be able to use us to reach those around us.

Clear Vision - You give them something to eat
Jesus’ feeding of the 5000 is a story that displays both God’s great compassion for people, but also the responsibility on all believers to care for the people around them. On one level, we have a responsibility for the city of Rotterdam. It is a call that comes both with real cost, but also great privilege.

Clear Vision - The outward facing circle
In this message, we look at how our circles of friendship and connection are always meant to be open and outward facing. We are called to share what we have, and make space for others. Jesus’ mission to seek and save lost people has become our mission. Therefore, we should aim to be as aware of those who are ‘not in the room yet’ as much as those who already are.

In this message we looked at the story of the paralysed man brought to Jesus, and the power of belonging.
As we enter a New year and we consider how important it is to press into community, find friends and how Jesus promises to meet us in the midst of those relationships.

Our hidden life in God
Our hidden life with God will be the most important aspect of who we are as people, and the direction our life is moving. Chris encouraged us to not hide anything from God, but rather to cultivate a flourishing hidden life of prayer and devotion with God.

Reconciled
In this message we explore God’s plan to create ‘one new humanity’ (the Church) who will display something of his wisdom, power and grace.
We ask the question, what is our role in this and how can we play our part in building together across cultures, generations and people groups?

Remember
In Ephesians 2:11-22, Paul urges the Ephesian believers to “remember” both where they once were, and where they now are. They were excluded but now they have been radically included. In this message we explore how fully accepting these truths can impact our lives and our church, creating confidence, humility, compassion and gratitude.

From Power to Freedom to Good Works
Vahé looks at Ephesians 2:1-10, particularly zooming in on verse 10. He explains the structure of the paragraph and how God’s power in us is greater than any other power, freeing us from sin and empowering us to walk in good works. Vahé explains how God has prepared these good works for us before the foundation of the world and how our life is bursting with meaning and purpose.

Back to the Future
In this message we look at Paul’s desire for believers to understand just how bad things were without God, and how good things are and will be with him. We consider Paul’s encouragement to live out our lives in light not simply of what God has done, but in view of what he promises to do going forward. We need to go ‘back to the future’ so we can see just how good he promises to be.

That we would know him
In this message Sarah looks at Paul’s prayer for the Church. In particular we consider how Paul prays that we would know Christ more and that the Holy Spirit would reveal to them their calling, their inheritance and the power available to them.

The Guaranteed Inheritance
In this message we explore being assured what our inheritance in Christ is, and how it changes our priorities and perspective. Without such confidence we easily drift into lifestyles indistinguishable from the world.

Treasure in jars of clay
Dave Holden zooms into Paul’s understanding of Christians indwelt by treasure (2 Corinthians 4). Dave reminds us to have a sober view of ourselves (jars of clay) and at the same time upholds our value as containing a treasure of incomparable value (the life of Jesus in us).
If that treasure was available to one of Christianity’s worst enemies (Paul), then the indwelling treasure is available to all.

Joshua 1 - shaped by faith
God consistently speaks into Joshua courage, strength and boldness. He knows that for Joshua to step into all that God has for him, he will need faith. In this message we consider how to live lives more shaped by faith than by fear.
